Protect your horse from biting insects, midges, and harmful UV rays with the Premier Equine Sweet Itch Buster Fly Rug — engineered for horses prone to sweet itch or insect hypersensitivity. Made from 1000D triple-woven ripstop polyester, this robust and breathable rug forms an effective barrier against even the smallest pests, while promoting airflow to keep your horse cool and comfortable.

Featuring an integrated neck cover and hood with fleece-lined ear holes for maximum protection, this fly rug is designed with your horse’s comfort in mind. A non-static, antibacterial polyester lining over the mane, shoulders, and withers helps to prevent rubbing, while our extra-high elasticated shoulder gusset (British Design Registration 4010772) ensures a greater range of movement and unrestricted comfort.

Quick-release chest clips, double-locking Velcro straps, cross surcingles, and a PVC-coated tail strap deliver a secure and adjustable fit. The supersized, double-thickness tail flap provides extra coverage, completing this essential summer rug for sensitive horses.
